Penentuan Ketua Program Studi Dengan Menerapkan Metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW)

Abstract

Program studi adalah salah satu bagian dari fakultas pada suatu Universitas. Pada beberapa perguruan tinggi, ketua program studi langsung dipilih oleh Yayasan dan Rektor. Ketua program studi berhak atas penyelenggaraan program studi. Perguruan tinggi terkadang mengalami permasalahan dalam menentukan ketua jurusan. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi yaitu kebingungan memilih calon kandidat yang akan dijadikan ketua program studi. Ketua program studi merupakan suatu tugas yang diamanahkan kepada seseorang untuk melaksanakan kegiatan program studi dalam suatu perguruan tinggi. Seperti kita ketahui bahwa ketua program studi sangat pengting bagi setiap program studi dikarenakan akan menjadi motor penggerak jalannya suatu program studi. Keberhasilan suatu program studi tergantung kepada ketua program studi. Untuk itu, penelitian ini akan membuat sistem penunjang keputusan. Penelitian ini dibuat dengan metode SAW (Simple Additive Weighting). Hasil Keputusan pemilihan ketua program studi yaitu hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil alternatif terbaik yang terpilih adalah kandidat 4 dengan nama Joni dengan nilai sebesar 0,987. Joni akan ditetapkan sebagai alternatif terpilih.

The head of the study program has the right to administer the study program. Universities sometimes experience problems in determining department heads. The problem that often occurs is confusion in choosing the candidate who will become head of the study program. The head of a study program is a task entrusted to someone to carry out study program activities in a tertiary institution. As we know, the head of the study program is very important for each study program because he will be the driving force behind the running of a study program. The success of a study program depends on the head of the study program. For this reason, this research will create a decision support system. This research was made using the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method. The results of the decision to elect the head of the study program, namely the results of the research, showed that the best alternative selected was candidate 4 with the name Joni with a score of 0.987. Joni will be designated as the chosen alternative.
