REMEDIASI MISKONSEPSI TEKANAN HIDROSTATIK MELALUI PICTURE AND PICTURE BERBANTUAN GUIDED NOTE TAKING DI SMP
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat efektivitas dalam penggunaan model picture and picture berbantuan guided note taking dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental design dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one-group pretest posttest design. Besar rata-rata persentase penurunan miskonsepsi setiap konsep sebelum remediasi 26% dan sesudah remediasi 5%. Tes binomial menunjukan perubahan yang signifikan terjadi untuk semua konsep dan tingkat efektivitas diukur dengan prinsip ruas jari, untuk konsep hubungan ketinggian air di permukaan bejana berhubungan (p = 0,016 dan α = 0,05) dengan tingkat efektivitas sebesar (0,7 tergolong sedang), konsep kedua hubungan gaya angkat dengan tekanan zat cair pada dongkrak hidrolik (p = 0,008 dan α = 0,05) dengan tingkat efektivitas sebesar (0,8 tergolong tinggi), konsep ketiga hubungan kedalaman dengan tekanan zat cair (p = 0,031 dan α = 0,05) dengan tingkat efektivitas (0,5 tergolong sedang). Diharapkan model picture and picture berbantuan guided note taking dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa.

Abstract : The research purpose was to know the effectiveness of using picture and picture model assisted by guided note taking, to remediated students’ misconception in grade eight Junior High School 8 Pontianak, West Kalimantan Province. The methode used was pre-experimental design with one-group pretest posttest design. The average percentation of misconseption’s reduction each concept was 26% before remediation and 5% after remediation. Binomial test showed that significancy change happened for all concepts and the effect size was measured by finger segments principal, first concept was about the correlation of water level in connected beaker (p = 0,016 and α = 0,05) with effect size was (0,7 medium level), second concept was about the correlation between the upthrust with fluid pressure in hydraulic jack (p = 0,008 and α = 0,05) with effect size was (0,8 high level), third concept was about the correlation of the depth with fluid pressure (p = 0,031 and α = 0,05) with effect size was (0,5 medium level). The picture and picture model assisted by guided note taking could be an alternative way to remediate studets’ misconceptions.
