PENGARUH MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE TALKING STICK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh model Kooperatif tipe Talking Stick terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 23 Pontianak Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen  jenis eksperimen semu (quasy eksperiment) dengan desain eksperimen Nonequivailent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 23 Pontianak Barat yang terdiri dari tiga kelas, yaitu V A, V B, dan V C yang berjumlah 78 peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V A ( kelas eksperimen) yang berjumlah 28 orang dan peserta didik kelas V B (kelas kontrol)  yang berjumlah 24 orang. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, diperoleh rata-rata pre-test kelas kontrol 50,12 dan rata-rata pre-test kelas eksperimen 51,11. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol 78,83 dan rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen 83,93. Hasil analisis uji-t (polled varians) diperoleh t_hitung sebesar 2,0731 dan t_tabel sebesar 2,0105. Perhitungan data hasil belajar peserta didik kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan Effect Size sebesar = 0,41 dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract: This research aims to analyze how much influence the type of Talking Stick Cooperative models to the study of students in the fifth grade social studies lesson State Elementary School 23 West Pontianak. The method used in this research is experimental type of quasi-experimental methods (quasy experiment) with the experimental design Nonequivailent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of State Elementary School 23 West Pontianak which consists of three classes, namely VA, VB, and VC which amounts to 78 learners. Samples were learners VA class (class experiment), amounting to 28 people and learners VB class (control class), amounting to 24 people. Based on the results of data processing, obtained an average pre-test control class 50.12 and the average pre-test experimental class 51.11. While the average value of the post-test control group 78.83 and the average post-test experimental class 83.93. The results of t-test analysis (polled variance) obtained  of 2.0731 and 2.0105 ttable. Data Calculation student learning outcomes and classroom control classroom experiments using the Effect Size
