PENERAPAN OUTDOOR LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 8 PONTIANAK

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode outdoor learning dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode indoor learning pada materi zat aditif makanan kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak, serta mengetahui besarnya pengaruh metode pembelajaran outdoor learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Desain.  Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil angket motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (α=5%), serta analisis hasil belajar siswa diperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (α=5%). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode outdoor learning dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode indoor learning pada materi zat aditif makanan kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. Penerapan outdoor learning memberi pengaruh sebesar 24,54% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract : This research was aimed to find out the motivation and students’  learning outcomes differences between the students who were taught by outdoor learning method and the students who were taught by indoor learning method in the food’s addictive substances in the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak, and also to find out the influence of outdoor learning method toward learning outcomes. The research design used quasi experimental that was conducted on Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The result of the questionnaire showed that Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value is 0,000 (α=5%),  and the analysis of students’ learning outcomes showed Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value is 0,000 (α=5%). This finding showed that there was a motivation and students’ learning outcomes differences between the students who were taught by outdoor learning method and the students who were taught by indoor learning in the food’s addictive substances in the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. An implementation of outdoor learning impact 24.54% toward the enhancement of students’ learning outcomes.
