PENGGUNAAN MEDIA MANIPULATIF PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract


Abstrak: Penggunaan Media Manipulatif pada Pembelajaran Matematika Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas V SDN 14 Toho. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran pengurangan bilangan bulat siswa kelas V SDN 14 Toho. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 12 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian adalah 1) Kemampuan guru merencanakan pembelajaran pengurangan bilangan bulat pada siklus I sebesar 3,35 dan siklus II sebesar 3,88 dengan peningkatan 0,53. 2) Kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran pengurangan bilangan bulat pada siklus I sebesar 3,37 dan siklus II sebesar 3,87 dengan peningkatan 0,50. 3) Dengan menggunakan media manipulatif ternyata dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN 14 Toho yaitu siklus I sebesar 70,83 pada siklus II sebesar 91,67 dengan peningkatan sebesar 20,84.

Abstract: The use of Manipulative Media for the learning of Mathematic to improve the achievement of the fifth grade students of SDN 14 Toho. The purpose of this research is to describe about the improvement of the students achievement in learning integer reduction to the fifth grade students of SDN 14 Toho. The method of this research is descriptive method and the research form is classroom action research. The research subjects were a teacher and the fifth grade students that consisted of twelve students. This research was conducted into two cycles. The result of the research are : 1) The ability of teacher to plan the lesson of integer reduction in cycle 1 was 3.35 and in cycle II was 3.88, that mean the improvement of research was 0.53. 2) The ability of teacher to conduct the teaching learning of integer reduction in cycle 1 was 3.37 and in cycle II was 3.87, that mean the improvement of research was 0.50. 3) The use of Manipulative Media could improve the achievement of the fifth grade students of SDN 14 Toho that was 70.83 in cycle 1 and 91.67 in cycle II, the improvement of students achievement was 20.84.
