Abstract

Abstract

This research was aimed to find out the efforts done by Persatuan Waria Pontianak in keeping the value of collective awareness, repressive law and consensus value toward the members' normative patterns. This research used descriptive method with a qualitative form.  The sources of this research was the board and the members of Persatuan Waria Pontianak. The data was collected using observation guidance, interview guidance and documentation. The result of this research showed that (1) the value of collective awareness in Persatuan Waria Pontianak is good which was proven by their loyalty, caring and intensity (strong sense of belonging) during the observation as well as the good interview with the board and the members (2) the value of repressive law in Persatuan Waria Pontianak is good which was proven by the value of justice, firmness,  alienation (excommunication) during the observation and the good interview with the board and the members (3) the value of consssesus towards normative patterns in Persatuan Waria Pontianak is also good which was proven by the consistency of being punctual, responsible and discipline during observation as well as the good result of interview with the board and the members. Keywords: Social Solidarity Value, Transsexual
