PENGARUH PENERAPAN TIPE MAKE A MATCH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS III DI SD

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of using Make A Match Types  to the learning outcomes Social Sciences Students Grade III State Elementary School 34 Pontianak Kota.

Experimental method design in this research is Quasi Experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of III F class as the control group and III B class as the experimental group selected by simple random sampling technique.

Student learning result test in the form of multiple choice were used to collect data. Based on the data analysis, the result of average post-test of experimental class is 77,66 and post-test of control class is 67,02, tcount 4,22 and ttable (α = 5% and dk = 32 + 31 - 2 = 61) of 1,6708, which means tcount> ttable. It can be concluded that there is the influence of the use of Make A Match Type on the learning outcomes of Social Sciences for Grade III at Elementary School 34 Pontianak Kota. The effect size calculation obtained ES = 0.98, including high criterion. This means that the use of Make A Match gives a moderate influence on students' Social Science learning outcomes in Grade III of SDN 34 Pontianak Kota.
