PENGARUH MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE ARTIKULASI TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN KOMUNIKASI SISWA PADA MATERI SIFAT-SIFAT KOLOID

Abstract

The aims of this research were to determine whether there was a significant difference of communication skills between students taught using cooperative type articulation and conventional models and to determine effect size of cooperative tipe articulation model toward students communication skills. The research method was pre-experimental design with Intact-Group Comparison design. The sample of the research was students of class XI MIA SMAN 2 Pontianak. The result of observation data of student communication skill in experiment and control class by using Independent Samples T-test showed a significant difference of communication skill between the class using model of articulation type and the class using conventional model. The results revealed the average percentage of students' communication skill using cooperative type articultion model was 59% wich meant categorized as fairly good and students with conventional learning model was 50% wich meant categorized as fairly good. According to calculation effect size of cooperative type articulation learning on student communication skill of 0.8 wich meant categorized as high.
