PERAN KETUA PRODI DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM BERBASIS KOMPETENSI D III KEPERAWATAN STIKES YARSI PONTIANAK

Abstract


Peran Ketua Prodi dalam Pengembangan Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi DIII Keperawatan Stikes Yarsi Pontianak.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dari Ketua Prodi dalam membuat keputusan sekaligus pelaksanaan pengembangan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi di Prodi DIII Keperawatan Stikes Yarsi Pontianak. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan Pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian diketahui peran yang dilaksanakan Ketua Prodi meliput peran koordinator, motivator, supervisor, dan kolaborator. Langkahlangkah pengembangan kurikulum dilakukan dengan menetapkan profile dan kompetensi lulusan, menyusun struktur kurikulum, dan melakukan pengelolaan pembelajaran. Pihak yang terlibat dalam penyusunan kurikulum meliputi organisasi profesi, rumah sakit, alumni, dan Internal Stikes. Faktor pendukung penerapan kurikulum meliputi keaktifan mahasiswa, komitmen, dukungan dari dosen,Yayasan, serta peraturan/sanksi yang tegas. Terbatasnya sarana pendukung dan tenaga pembimbing, kasus penyakit yang kurang bervariasi merupakan faktor penghambat penerapan kurikulum ini. Peran aktif Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi membentuk Tim pengembang kurikulum, serta pelibatan pihak terkait dalam penyusunan kurikulum, merupakan upaya agar lulusan diterima dan didayagunakan Masyarakat.

Abstract: Role Chairman Prodi in the Development of Competency-Based Curriculum DIII Nursing Stikes Yarsi Pontianak. This study aims to determine role of Chairman Prodi to make decisions at once the implementation of competency-based curriculum development in. This research is qualitative phenomenological approach. Results of research show that the role of Chairman Prodi held roles covering coordinator, motivator, supervisor, and collaborators. Step curriculum development done by setting profile and competency, curriculum structuring, and managing learning. Parties involved in the preparation of curriculum includes professional organizations, hospitals, alumni, and Internal Stikes. Factors supporting the implementation of curriculum is student activity, commitment, lecturers, Foundation, and the regulatory. Lack of supports facilities, supervisor, disease varies less a factor in resisitor in curriculum. Active role of the Provincial Health Office to set up a curriculum developer, and the involvement of related parties the preparation the curriculum, is an attempt to graduates be accepted and utilized Society.
