KORELASI LAYANAN PEMINATAN DENGAN PENYESUAIAN DIRI AKADEMIK SISWA KELAS XI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 2 PONTIANAK

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi objektif tentang Korelasi Layanan Peminatan  dengan Penyesuaian Diri Akademik Siswa Kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 76 siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak tahun akademik 2014/2015 dan sampelnya adalah seluruh siswa tersebut. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa layanan peminatan siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak mencapai 78,24% termasuk dalam kategori baik. Sementara penyesuaian diri akademik siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak mencapai 76,38% termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil dari koreasi prodect moment kedua variabel didapat r_hitung = 0,249 kemudian dibandingkan dengan r_tabel = 0,2257 dengan demikian  r_hitung lebih besar dari r_tabel yang artinya terdapat korelasi positif (searah) antara layanan peminatan dengan penyesuaian diri akademik siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak.

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to get objective information about the correlation of  students’ interest service and academic adaptation of grade XI students in SMA Muhammadiyah Pontianak. The method of research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The population in this research is 76 grade XI students in SMA Muhammadiyah Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015 and the sample is all population. The result of the research shows that students’ interest service is categorized as good category with score 78,24% as the average percentages of the aspects that is assessed. Furthermore, the result of product moment correlation is r _hitung = 0,249 than r _table = 0,2257. From the result we can know that r hitung is bigger than r table which means there is a positive correlation between students’ interest service and academic adaptation of grade XI students in SMA Muhammadiyah Pontianak.
