Living more actively will support increased muscle mass and decreased fat mass, thereby improving long-term health. Lack of physical activity is the cause of increasing problems of non-communicable diseases. Resting Heart Rate Monitoring is a simple and non-invasive clinical method related to the health picture. The aim of the research was to determine the correlation between physical activity levels and resting heart rate. The method used to collect data is that physical activity levels are measured using the IPAQ-SF (International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form) questionnaire and heart rate is measured by feeling the arteries on the wrist and counting the number of beats per minute. The subjects in this research were 209 FIKK UNM students who were selected using the Accidental Sampling technique. Data were processed descriptively and correlatively using Pearson correlative analysis to see the relationship between physical activity levels and heart rate. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the average level of physical activity is in the light category and the average resting heart rate per minute is 93.09 ± 9,930. Furthermore, correlation analysis between physical activity level and resting heart rate showed a significance value of 0.00 (p < 0.05). In conclusion, there is an inverse significant relationship between physical activity level and resting heart rate. The higher the level of physical activity, the lower the resting heart rate and vice versa.
