Tanjungpura Law Journal (Tanjungpura Law J. - TLJ) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Faculty of Law Tanjungpura University twice a year in January and July. The aims of this journal is to provide a venue for academicians, researchers and practitioners for publishing the original research articles or review articles. The scope of the articles published in this journal deal with a broad range of topics in the fields of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Constitutional Law, International Law, Administrative Law, Islamic Law, and another section related contemporary issues in law. All papers submitted to this journal should be written in English or Indonesian language.
Review Policy
Articles should be submitted electronically via the online submission web site. Please note that the Journal only accepts submissions via Tanjungpura Law Journal website and cannot consider articles received by any other means. Decisions to publish a submission are based on reviews by an editorial team board and a peer reviewer who are experts and familiar with the relevant field of research. After review process, the Managing Editor will inform the author of the acceptance, rejection or necessity of revision of the article.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Article Format
All articles submitted to this journal should be written in English or in Indonesian language. Articles typed on A4 paper format, preferably in Microsoft Word, with maximum length of 4000-10.000 words (including of footnotes and abstract). Book reviews should be no longer than 2000 words (without footnotes). The article should be written in font: arial 11pt, 1,5 spacing and a maximum of four levels of heading is available, the first heading should be titled “Introduction” and the last heading should be titled “Conclusion.” Main headings, sub-headings and sub-sub headings should be numbered by:
First level: Type in capitals, Roman numerals in uppercase (I, II, III, ...);
Second level: alphabets in uppercase (A, B, C, ...);
Third level: Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, ...);
Fourth level: alphabet in lowercase (a, b, c, ...);
The sequence of the sections of the article are as follow: Title; Author’s Name; Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Method (for original research article); Analysis and Discussion; Conclusion; and Bibliography.
Title
Title of article are written in arial font, Bold,14pt, single spacing and preferably not more than 14 words.
Author’s Name
Write full name of the author without any qualifications in arial font, 11pt. Qualifications of the author should be explained in the footnote that specified: author's affiliation and contact address, postal codes, e-mail, and Tel./Fax.
Abstract
All article should be submitted together with an abstract and preferably not more than 300 words. Abstracts are written in English and Indonesian, abstract from foreign author will be translated to Bahasa Indonesia. The purpose of the abstract is to identify the subject matter of the article and to summarise the distinctive contribution to the literature which the article makes. It enables the reader using electronic databases to identify articles that are of interest to them. The abstract should be clear, concise, and descriptive. Abstract should provide a brief introduction to the problem, objective of article, followed by a statement regarding the methodology (optional) and a brief summary of results. Font: arial 10pt, italic, single spacing in one paragraph.
Keywords
Keywords arranged by alphabetically and should have at least two keywords and maximum six keywords in lowercase separated by a semicolon (;). Font: arial 10pt, italic. The word “Keywords” in bold and italic (e.g. Keywords:).
Introduction
The introduction should be clear and provide the issue to be discussed in the Article. At the end of the paragraph, the author(s) should end with a comment on the significance concerning identification of the issue and the objective of research.
Method
The method are written in descriptive and should provide a statement regarding the methodology of the research. This method are optional (only for original research articles).
Analysis and Discussion
Analysis and discussion contains the results of analysis and discussion of the object of study. This section is the most important section of your article. The analysis and discussion should be clear and concise. The results should summarize (scientific) findings rather than providing data in great detail. Tables and figures (if any) should be presented on the same sheets of the article and should have short descriptive titles. Table should be made in an open model (without the vertical lines) and figures should be clearly readable and at least have a resolution of 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) for good printing quality.
Conclusion
Conclusion contains the answer of the issue. Provide a clear and concise conclusion. Do not repeat the abstract or just list experimental results, but more than that it should provide a clear explanation regarding the possible of application and/or suggestions related of your article.
