EVALUATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF THE PERFORMANCE OF IPA VI SELAT PANJANG PERUMDA AIR MINUM TIRTA KHATULISTIWA PONTIANAK
Abstract
IPA VI Selat Panjang has a processing capacity of 200 l/det, but the existing condition of the processing capacity is not running 100%. Increased rainfall greatly affects the color of the water caused by peat water. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of raw and production water, to determine the performance of each treatment unit, to evaluate and optimize the processing capacity of the IPA VI Selat Panjang. Research steps include the collection of water quality data in 2020, detailed image data for each IPA unit, and existing condition data of IPA VI Selat Panjang. Then analyze the raw water and production water quality, evaluate and optimize the IPA unit. After doing a research for 3 days found that the quality of raw water that was out of the class I water quality standards based on PP No. 22 Tahun 2021, turbidity 57.32 NTU, pH 6.74, and color 552.4 Pt.Co. According to Permenkes 492 Tahun 2010, the quality of drinking water is below the standard, the color standard is 31.13 Pt.Co. The optimization process of IPA VI by recounting volumetric dose, rearranging the IIB compartment, adding a tube settler to the sedimentation tank, planning the depth of the filter and buffer media, adding 2 filtration tanks, determining the lime dose for the raw and production water.
