Analisa Perbandingan Variasi Sambungan Kampuh V Terhadap Uji Tekuk Pada Pengelasan Material Baja JIS G3101 Dengan Parameter Arus dan Elektroda

Abstract


The manufacturing industry including in the field of welding because it has an important role in metal engineering and repair. SMAW is a technique in welding, welding results that meet standards need to pay attention several factors such as current, electrodes and welding seams, this research was carried out because of the time comparison in the specimen preparation process which is in the tapered v-groove the process is faster than a single v-groove. JIS G3101 steel plate research, the use of this material is due to its application which has been used starting from car bumpers, vehicle bodies to basic construction. This research was conducted to parameters that affect the welding process to obtain better product quality. Full factorial method with ANOVA analysis. Research result the best welding combination with a single v-groove an angle of 60° current strength of 180 A, electrode type E7016 and tapered v-groove an angle of 30° current strength of 160 A, and electrode type E7016 against bending test. The bending test isn’t much different from the previous nine test variations there are significant differences electrodes. The result study was that the welding parameter setting for a single v-groove joint was 60° the largest bending test value of 87.92 MPa and for a tapered v-grooove joint with an angle of 30° the largest bending test value was 84.15 MPa. The most influential parameters for the two types of connections are the electrode parameters effect on a single v-groove that is 5.34% and on taper 10.72%.
