Sistem Tenaga Surya Terkonsentrasi Untuk Pembangkit Kalor
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to obtain an efficient solar water heater design so as to produce a water heater that can meet research needs and analyze the influence of variations in water flow rates. The research methods used are experimental. The test was carried out by verifying when the solar water heater was operational for 15 minutes with stable water circulation conditions and sunlight focused on the reflection point. The experiment was carried out 2 times with each variation of the test in this study using a water flow rate variant with a water discharge of 0.5 liters / minute, 1 liter / minute, 2 liters / minute in a span of 15 minutes once for 5 hours. The results of the study obtained the highest temperature achieved was 43.2 ° C which occurred at 13.45 wib at a flow rate of 0.5 liters / second. The results of the calculation of the average efficiency value in this study showed that the variation in the flow rate of 0.5 liters / minute had the highest average efficiency value of 49.89%, and the lowest average efficiency value of 46.21% at 2 liters / minute. It can be concluded that the smaller the flow rate, the higher the temperature of the hot water produced.
