Analisis Nilai Penyimpangan Mesin Bubut CNC Pada Benda Kerja Plastik Nylon

Abstract


Along with technological developments, lathes are required to provide satisfaction to consumers such as precision, accuracy, flexibility, time efficiency and production capacity. This study aims to determine the feasibility of a semi-CNC mini lathe in the Faculty of Engineering, Tanjungpura University. Through this research, the percentagevalue is obtained error so that the level of accuracy of the semi-CNC mini lathe can be determined. The method used in this research is to measure the results of turning using a screw micrometer with an accuracy level of 0.001 mm for the diameter and calipers with an accuracy level of 0.1 mm for the infeed length. The workpiece used is a nylon plastic cylindrical shaft with an initial diameter of 25.4 mm and a length of 100 mm. The results of testing the performance of a semi CNC mini lathe on 8 workpieces with 2 different types of programs, the averagepercentage error rate is 1.840% so that the semi-CNC mini lathes built have an accuracy level of 98.160% for the X-axis and 99.604% for axis Z.
