Kandungan Protein dan Kepadatan Sel Nannochloropsis oculata pada Media Kultur Limbah Cair Karet
Abstract
Liquid waste rubber has potential compounds as nutriens for the growth of microalgae. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of culture media on liquid waste rubber and the growth of cell microalgae N. oculata. The study was conducted from November to December 2013. The culture media used liquid waste rubber with a concentration of 10% 20%, 30% and 40%. The result of ANOVA test showed that the liquid waste rubber have an effect on the proteint content and cell density of N. oculata. The highest percentage of protein content in the culture medium 40% was 30,17%. Microalgae growth in the culture medium 20% with a mean cell density was 112,97 x 108 cell/ml.
