PENDEKATAN PROBLEM SOLVING DAN PENDEKATAN DEDUKTIF DALAM SETTING PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF PADA MATERI JAJARGENJANG SMP
Abstract
Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komparasi pendekatan problem solving dan pendekatan deduktif dalam setting pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun datar jajargenjang di kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design dilanjutkan dengan delayed-test. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VII B dan VII E yang berjumlah 64 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan problem solving dan pendekatan deduktif dalam setting pembelajaran kooperatif. Dan nilai Effect Size (sebesar 0.5) menunjukkan komparasi pembelajaran kooperatif menggunakan pendekatan problem solving dan pendekatan deduktif memberikan pengaruh yang rendah terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun datar jajargenjang di kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak.

Abstract : This research aims to ascertain of comparison problem-solving and deductive approach in the setting of cooperative learning on student learning outcomes in the material flat wake parallellogram in class VII SMP 2 Pontianak. The research method used is a quasi-experimental with design used was a pretest-posttest control group and then delayed-test. The sample in this research is class VII B and VII E, amounting to 64 students. The results of data analysis showed that there was no significant difference based between who taught using problem solving approach and deductive approach in cooperative learning settings. And result of effect size (at 0.5), showed that comparison of cooperative learning using problem solving approach and deductive approach provides a low impact on student learning outcomes in the flat wake parallelogram material in class VII SMP 2 Pontianak.
