STRUKTUR NOVEL BURUNG-BURUNG CAHAYA KARYA JUSUF A.N.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan struktur formal, struktur naratif, dan makna dalam novel BBC. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif, dengan pendekatan struktural dan heremeneutik. Sumber data adalah novel BBC, sedangkan datanya berupa kutipan-kutipan (kata, frasa, kalimat, atau paragraf) dalam novel BBC. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tidak langsung dengan studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen kunci. Struktur formal pada judul novel ini memiliki bahasa kiasan. Volume teks pada struktur formal ini memiliki tebal buku sebanyak 466 halaman. Dalam novel ini terdapat penggunaan bahasa Arab, bahasa Inggris, dan bahasa Jawa. Struktur naratif novel ini mengandung 40 sequence dan kedudukan tokoh Rijal. Makna yang terdapat dalam novel ini adalah makna keagamaan (religius), kemasyarakatan (sosial), dan kepribadian (individu).

Abstract: This study aims to describe the formal structure, narrative structure, and meaning in the novel BBC. The method used is descriptive, qualitative shape, with a structural approach and hermeneutics. The data source is the BBC's novel, while the data in the form of quotations in the novel BBC. Data collection techniques using indirect techniques to study documentary. This research data collection tool was a researcher himself as a key instrument. The formal structure of the title of this novel have figurative language. The volume of text on this formal structure has as many as 466 pages thick book. In this novel there is the use of Arabic, English, and the Java language. Narrative structure of the novel contains 40 sequences and position Rijal figures. BBC novel meaning is the meaning of religion (religious), social (social), and personality (people).
