The application of contextual teaching learning approaches to enhance student learning activities in the learning IImu Sciences. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in student learning activities in the learning IImu Natural Pengengetahuan using contextual approach to learning teaching fourth grade elementary school 11 Laur. This study uses descriptive. Survey research form the type of classroom action research. Data collection technique is the technique of direct observation and documentary data collection tool that observation sheet and record of students' learning activities. The research was conducted in two cycles with the results obtained by the end of the study of physical activity 49.99% in the first cycle category of "pretty", and 71.42% in the second cycle category of "high," mental activity 28.56% in the first cycle category "low", and 47.14% in the second cycle to the category "enough". Emotional activity 53.56% in the first cycle with the category "enough" and 76.78% with the second cycle category "high".

Abstrak: penerapan pendekatan contextual teaching learning untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IImu Pengetahuan Alam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IImu Pengengetahuan Alam dengan menggunakan Pendekatan contextual teaching learning kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 11 Laur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. bentuk Penelitian survei dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Teknik pengumpul data adalah teknik observasi langsung dan dokumenter, Alat pengumpul data yaitu lembar observasi, dan catatan tentang aktivitas belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan hasil akhir penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu aktivitas fisik 49,99% pada siklus I katagori cukup, dan 71,42% pada siklus II katagori tinggi, aktivitas mental 28,56% pada siklus I katagori rendah, dan 47,14% pada siklus II dengan katagori cukup. Aktivitas emosional 53,56% pada siklus I dengan katagori cukup dan siklus II 76,78% dengan katagori tinggi.
