PENERAPAN METODE EKSPERIMEN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa  dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 06 Parit Mas dengan menerapkan metode eksperimen. Hal ini dikarenakan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa selama ini  berada dibawah standar KKM. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Dengan bentuk penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan sifat kolaboratif. Subyek  dalam penelitian ini adalah guru selaku peneliti dan  seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 06 Parit Mas yang berjumlah 15 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi guru dan lembar hasil belajar siswa.Berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh terhadap langkah-langkah penerapan metode eksperimen dalam pembelajaran IPA hasil rata-rataIPKG I adalah 3,21 sedangkan IPKG II adalah 3,11.Sementara untuk hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 27,33 atau 66%. Dari hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode eksperimen  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract: This study aims to describe the results of student learning in science teaching fourth grade State Elementary School 06 Ditch Mas by applying experimental methods. This is because the average student learning outcomes for this under KKM standards. The method used in this research is descriptive method. With this form of research is classroom action research with the collaborative nature. Subjects in this study were the teacher as a researcher and the entire fourth grade students of SDN 06 Trenches Mas totaling 15 people. Data collection techniques used are direct observation. Data collection tool used is a teacher observation sheets and sheets of student learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of data obtained on the application of the method steps in learning science experiments the average yield was 3.21 whereas IPKG I IPKG II is 3.11. As for the learning outcomes of students increased by 27.33 or 66%. From the analysis it was concluded that the application of the experimental method can improve student learning outcomes.
