PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS PESERTA DIDIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM MENGGUNAKAN METODE DEMONSTRASI DI SD

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam menggunakan metode demonstrasi di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Manis Mata Ketapang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif Bentuk penelitiannya adalah survey studies. Jenis penelitiannya tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pendidik dan peserta didik yang berjumlah 15 orang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah :1) peningkatan aktivitas fisik dari base line yaitu 37,7% ke siklus III sebesar 86,6% meningkat  48,9%,  2) peningkatan aktivitas mental pada base line 23,3% ke siklus III sebesar 60%. Meningkat sebesar 36,7% dan 3) peningkatan aktivitas emosional pada base line yaitu 37,8% ke siklus III sebesar 82,27%. Meningkat sebesar 44,47%. Kesimpulan bahwa peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik baik itu fisik, mental, dan emosional sekaligus juga dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penggunaan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran IPA berdampak positif dan bermakna bagi kehidupan peserta didik.

Abstract : The purpose of this study to describe the increase in the activity of learners in the learning of Natural Sciences using demonstration method in class V State Elementary School 14 Manis Mata Ketapang. The method used in this research is descriptive method of research is a survey studies Form. Type class action research. Subjects in this study were educators and learners who totaled 15 people. The results of this study are: 1) an increase in physical activity from baseline is 37.7% for the third cycle of 86.6% increased by 48.9%, 2) an increase in mental activity at baseline 23.3% for the third cycle of 60% . Increased by 36.7%, and 3) an increase in emotional activity at baseline that is 37.8% for the third cycle of 82.27%. Increased by 44.47%. Conclusion that the increased activity of learners whether physical, mental, and emotional at the same time can also improve the performance of teachers. By using the method of demonstration on the science learning will give a positive impact and meaningful in their live of learnes.
