PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK DISKUSI DAN SEMINAR DENGAN TGT

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan hasil pembelajaran menyimak diskusi dan seminar dengan Teams Games Tournament pada siswa kelas XI IPS MAS Mujahidin Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan yang dirancang dalam tiga siklus. Alur penelitian meliputi perancanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (acting), pengamatan (observing) dan refleksi (reflekting).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menyimak diskusi dan seminar dengan metode Teams Games Tournament pada siswa kelas XI IPS MAS Mujahidin Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan siswa. Hasil penelitian tersebut adalah sebagai berikut; pencapaian daya serap siswa sebelum mendapat tindakan sebesar 68% dengan ketuntasan klasikal 55 %  meningkat menjadi  71%  dengan ketuntasan 68% di siklus I. Pada siklus II daya serap 83% dengan ketuntasan 81% selanjutnya di siklus III daya serap 89 dengan ketuntasan 90%. Dengan demikian metode Teams Games Tournament dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak diskusi dan seminar pada siswa kelas XI IPS MAS Mujahidin Pontianak Kata kunci :  TGT, menyimak diskusi, seminar.  Abstract: This study aims to decribe how the learning plan, implementation and result of discussion and seminar by using  Teams Games Tournament on twelfth graders social 2013/2014 school years. The research used qualitative approach by action research method which designed in three cycles. The study consist of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The result  research to listen to discussion and seminar by using  Teams Games Tournament on twelfth graders social 2013/2014 school year succesfully improve the skill of students. The results of the study are the following learning outcomes; absorption student achievement before getting action by 68% with classical completeness 55% increased to 71% with 68% completeness in the first cycle. In the second cycle absorption of 83% with 81% completeness further further in the third cycle absorption of 89% with 90% completeness. Thus the Teams Games Tournament method in improving listening skill discussion and seminar in twelfth grader in MAS Mujahidin Pontianak. Key Word :  TGT, Listening discussion and seminar.
