PENGEMBANGAN SOALOPEN ENDED PROBLEM SOLVING MATERI SEGI EMPAT UNTUK SISWA KELAS VII SMP
Abstract
Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan soal open ended problem solving dalam materi segi empat bagi siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2013-2014. Desain penelitian dan pengembangan digunakan untuk tujuan tersebut. Ada tiga validator yang terlibat di dalam memvalidasi soal open ended problem solving dimaksud. Dari empat soal yang divalidasi mereka, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa semua (4 butir soal) harus dilakukan revisi. Setelah direvisi hasilnya dikonfirmasi kembali kepada validator. Setelah keempat butir soal tersebut dinyatakan valid, selanjutnya dilakukan uji coba lapangan. Dari hasil uji coba diperoleh bahwa untuk soal nomor 1 koefisien validitasnya adalah 0,42 (tergolong sedang), untuk soal nomor 2 koefisien validitasnya adalah 0,83 (tergolong sangat tinggi), untuk soal nomor 3 koefisien validitasnya adalah 0,66 (tergolong tinggi), dan untuk soal nomor 4 koefisien validitasnya adalah 0,87 (tergolong sangat tinggi). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa keempat soal open ended problem solving yang dibuat secara teoritis dan empiris layak dipakai.

Abstract: The research aimed to produce open ended problem solvingquestion in square teaching material for students of junior High School Muhammadiyah I Grade VII Pontianak in academic year 2013-2014. There were three validators validating these open ended problem solvingquestion. Of four question validated, it showed that all question needed revision. After revision, the results were given to the validators. When the revision of the four question were valid, they were tested. According to the result of the test it show that question I had validity coefficient 0,42 (moderate), question 2 had validity coefficient 0,83 (very high), question 3 had validity coefficient 0,66 (high), and question 4 had validity coefficient 0,87 (very high). The research finding showed that these four open ended problem solving questionswhich were designed theoretically and empirically can be used.
