MISKONSEPSI GURU SMA NEGERI PADA MATERI IKATAN KIMIA MENGGUNAKAN CERTAINTY OF RESPONSE INDEX (CRI)

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghitung persentase miskonsepsi guru pada SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bengkayang tentang ikatan kimia setelah dianalisis dengan menggunakan Certainty of Response Index, (2) mengetahui bentuk dan penyebab miskonsepsi guru pada SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bengkayang tentang ikatan kimia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif jenis survey. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan sebanyak lima guru dari lima SMA Negeri. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes diagnostik dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menggunakan  Certainty of Response Index menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsepsi guru terdiri dari 21% tahu konsep, 57% miskonsepsi dan 22% tidak tahu konsep. Bentuk miskonsepsi guru yang ditemukan terdiri dari 36 bentuk. Penyebab miskonsepsi guru adalah pemikiran asosiatif (40%), intuisi yang salah (35%), buku (5%) dan alasan tidak lengkap (47,5%).

Abstract: The aims of this research were (1) calculated the percentage of teachers’ misconceptions at high schools in Bengkayang Region about chemical bonds when analyzed using the Certainty of Response Index, (2) determined type and cause of teachers’ misconceptions in high schools at Bengkayang Region about chemical bonding. The method of this research was descriptive type of survey. The subject of this research was five teachers from five Senior High School. The instruments of this research were diagnostic test and interview. The result of this research showed 21% of teachers' understand of ​​the concept very well, 57% had misconceptions and 22% didn’t know the concept. Types of teacher misconceptions found consist of 36 types. The cause of teachers’ misconception were associative thinking (40%), wrong intuition (35%), books (5%) and incomplete reasons (47.5%).
