ANALISIS KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA EKONOMI DI SMA NEGERI 1 TERIAK
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the students’ learning independence in economics subject in the eleventh grade of social 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Teriak, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan. The research employed descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The data source for this study were the mentioned students and the data were from observations and interviews with the students and the teachers in XI grade of social 1. The results showed that student learning independence was seen from the indicators that were good, namely student confidence in learning in class, student activity in learning in class, student discipline in learning in class, as well as student learning responsibilities in class is good. However, there are findings of problems in student responsibilities in carrying out assignments, there are still the same results of assignments and indications that students work together, and there are students who go to school while working. Students also pay their friends to do the tasks given by the teacher. This can be done to prevent cheating in carrying out assignments, namely by informing students that if there is a task that is done the result is the same, then a value of 0 will be given to the value of the assignment and on a class cleaning picket if they are not responsible for carrying out their duties, they can be given a penalty in the form of cleaning the school environment.
