KORELASI MENGHAFAL AL-QUR’AN DENGAN MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATEMATIKA BERKONTEN ISLAMI MTS AL-HABIB SHOLEH ALWI AL-HADDAD
Abstract
This study aims to determine the correlation between the ability to memorize the Qur'an and the ability to solve math problems with Islamic content at MTs Al Habib Sholeh bin Alwi Al Haddad. The ability to memorize the Qur'an and the ability to solve math problems with Islamic content were tested on 32 grade IX students of MTs Al Habib Sholeh bin Alwi Al Haddad for the 2020/2021 school year. This study uses quantitative research. The numbers collected as a result of research can then be analyzed using statistical methods. The population in this study were students of class IX MTs Al Habib Sholeh Bin Alwi Al Haddad, amounting to 120 people. Data collection uses documentation and test instruments. The results of this study (1) there is a positive correlation between variables X and Y where the correlation index is 0.3091 with a low or weak correlation strength of the ability to memorize the Qur'an and the ability to solve math problems with Islamic content of students and (2) a large coefficient of determination of 9.55% and 90.45% determined by other factors.
