PERAN DOSEN DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER MAHASISWA DI PRODI PENDIDIKAN SENI TARI DAN MUSIK FKIP UNTAN PONTIANAK
Abstract
This study aimed to analyse how the role of lecturers in shaping students character in the Dance and Music Education Study Program. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were 9 lecturers and 20 students. The researcher used interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation as data collection techniques of this research. Data analysis of thisresearch was by classifying data and interpreting the content of the data. The results showed that lecturers have instilled character education in lectures, namelyby instilling character education values, such as honesty, discipline and care in lectures, greetings at the beginning of each lecture to foster a polite attitude, praying when starting and dismissing the sessions of lectures to foster a religious attitude. However, there were some students who have not consistently applied them.
