PENGARUH CYBERBULLYING TERHADAP KEPERCAYAAN DIRI PESERTA DIDIK KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 11 PONTIANAK

Abstract


This study to determine the effect of cyberbullying on the self confidence of class IX students at SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. The approach used is quantitative with descriptive methods in the form of influence study research. The data collection technique is the indirect method and the data collection tool is the indirect communication technique and the data collection tool is a questionnaire. The research data source was class IX students with apopulation of 203 with a sample of 62 people. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that cyberbullying for class IX students of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak is in the high category, namely 91,60%.Meanwhile, the self-confidence of class IX students at SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak showed the moderate category with a proportion of 72,83%. The results of the calculation of the correlation analysis founds that the influence of cyberbullying on the self-confidence of class IX students of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak was 20%. This means that about 80% of self-confidence is influenced by variables that are not examined.
