ANALISIS PERUBAHAN GARIS PANTAI MENGGUNAKAN METODE DSAS (DIGITAL SHORELINE ANALYSIS SYSTEM) TAHUN 2014-2022 PANTAI MATANG DANAU DESA MATANG DANAU KECAMATAN PALOH KABUPATEN SAMBAS

Abstract

Research on changes in the coastline of Matang Danau, Matang Danau Village, Paloh, Sambas in 2014-2022, was carried out to determine the factors of changes in the Matang Danau coastline in 2014-2022. This research is a qualitative research and in the form of a case study. Located at Matang Danau Beach, Matang Danau Village. Observations were made for data collection and carried out using a GPS (Global Position System) device as well as interviews and documentation studies in the field. The data source comes from primary data that is the result of observation, while secondary data comes from Google Earth in the form of multi-year images. Data analysis used a DSAS (Digital Shoreline Analysis System) method with the NSM (Net Shoreline Movement) method contained in an ArcGIS software. The results of this study indicate that Matang Danau Beach has experienced a change in coastline measured from 2014-2022 with an average change of 16.16 meters inland. caused by abrasion and hydro-oceanographic factors such as wave currents and rising tides.
