PERKEMBANGAN KEHIDUPAN SOSIAL EKONOMI MASYARAKAT SUKU MADURA PASCA KERUSUHAN SAMBAS DI DESA TEBANG KACANG TAHUN 2000-2005.

Abstract

The Madurese are a tribe that occupies areas in West Kalimantan, generally in Sambas and began to settle in Sambas in the 18th century before the riots in Sambas in 1999 which resulted in the Madurese being relocated to Pontianak. This research is entitled "The Development of Socio-Economic Life of the Madurese Tribe after the Sambas Riot in Tebang Kacang Village 2000-2005". The aims of this study were: (1) Conditions for Refugees Relocation from the Sambas Riot in Tebang Kacang Village, (2) Social conditions for the Madurese community after the Sambas riots in Tebang Kacang, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency in 2000-2005, (3) Community economic conditions the Madurese after the Sambas riots in Tebang Kacang, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency in 2000-2005. The research method used in this research is the historical research method (historical methodology). The steps used in the historical method consist of topic selection, heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography, the results of this research are: (1) search for relocation sites from the government for refugees from the Sambas riots. (2) The way the refugee community interacts socially with the local community without discriminating against ethnicity and religion to live in harmony in one environment. (3) The people of Tebang Kacang Village have split eyes as farmers.
