PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LAERNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA SDN 04 RASAU JAYA

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan sosial siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04 Rasau Jaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan “nonequivalent control group design”. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 39 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung dan teknik pengukuran. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes essay yang berjumlah 8 soal. Hasil analisis data menunjukan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dan tidak diajar dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada pembelajaran IPS kelas V SDN 04 Rasau Jaya dengan = -2,04 dengan taraf signifikan α=5%. Nilai  effect size yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 0,76 dan memberikan pengaruh sedang terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract: The aims of the research are to determine  the effect problem based learning model to students achievement in social sciences at grade V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04 Rasau Jaya. The method of this research was quasi-experiment with “nonequivalent control group” design. Sampling techniques was 39 students. The data collection technique used is the technique of direct observation and measurement techniques. Means of data collection using the observation sheet and essay test questions were 8 questions. The result of data analysis showed that there was difference between students achievement are taught and not taught by the problem based learning model in social sciences at grade V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04 Rasau Jaya by value   = -2,04 dengan taraf signifikan  α=5%. Effect size value earned was 0,76 and giving effect medium toward students achievment.
