FAKTOR-FAKTOR PEMANFAATAN E-RESOURCES OLEH MAHASISWA DI UPT PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH PONTIANAK
Abstract
E-Resources is an important component of a procurement activity of the library collection. Electronic resources are library collection materials that refer to collection materials that require personal computer access, mainframes, or mobile saluler devices. The purpose of this study is to determine the internal and external factors of the use of e-resources by students at UPT. Pontianak Muhammadiyah University Library. Using descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis is data reduction and data presentation. Data validity checking techniques, increasing perseverance, triangulation, and givingcheck. The informants in this study numbered five people, the Head of the Library and Student of the University of Muhamadiyah Pontianak. From the results of this study it was found that the most influential internal factors in the use of e-resources are motifs and needs. Motive factor, namely students driven by lecturers to use e-resources. The need factor arises due to the encouragement of students to use e-resources in finding references to college assignments, final projects and preparing thesis. The most influential external factors in the use of e-resources are the completeness of the collection, the available collections are thesis, journal, and e-books. The availability of facilities is a supporting factor, there are several facilities that are already available such as computers and wifi.
