PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN METODE DEMONSTRASI KELAS II SDN 36

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan Metode demonstrasi untuk Meningkatkan  Motivasi Siswa dalam Materi menentukan letak jarum jam dalam pembelajaran matematia kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 36 PTPN XIII Ngabang Kabupaten Landak.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Deskritif, jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (celassroom Action Research), bentuk penelitian yaitu kualitatif dan sifat penelitian bersifat kolaboratif. Tempat penelitian berlansung di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 36 PTPN XIII Ngabang, subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas II yang berjumlah 8 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan 2 siklus dan hasil yang diperoleh yaitu motivasi intrinsik mulai dari observasi awal (base line) diperoleh  29,16% sedangkan pada siklus I 54,16%, terdapat selisih yaitu 25% kemudian dari siklus I 54,16% ke siklus II yaitu 66,66% dengan selisih 12,5%. Selanjutnya motivasi ektrinsik mulai dari observasi awal (base line) diperoleh 35,41% sedangkan pada siklus I 52,08% Terdapat selisih 16,67% kemudian dari siklus I 52,08% ke siklus II yaitu 70,83% dengan selisih 18,75%. Secara umum dari data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan. Dengan demikian penelitian dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa

Abstract : The general objective of this research is the demonstration of the use of Methods to Improve Student Motivation in a material determine the position of the clock in the second grade learning matematia Elementary School District 36 PTPN XIII Ngabang Hedgehogs. The method used in this research is descriptive method , this type of research is action research ( celassroom Action Research ) , the form and nature of qualitative research that is collaborative research. Where the research occurred in Elementary School 36 PTPN XIII Ngabang, research subjects are students of class II, amounting to 8 students. This research was carried out by using 2 cycles and the results obtained by the observation of intrinsic motivation from the beginning (base line ) obtained 29.16 % and 54.16 % in the first cycle , there is a difference that is 25 % then 54.16 % of the first cycle to cycle II is 66.66 % with a difference of 12.5 %. Furthermore, extrinsic motivation ranging from early observations (base line) obtained 35.41 % and 52.08 % in the first cycle There is a difference of 16.67 % and 52.08 % from the first cycle to the second cycle is 70.83 % with a difference of 18, 75 % . In general, from the data obtained it can be concluded that there was an increase. Thus research using demonstration method can increase students' motivation
