ANALISIS PENANAMAN SIKAP TOLERANSI PADA PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN IPS KELAS VIII C MTs NEGERI 1 PONTIANAK

Abstract


 This study aims to determine the inculcation of tolerance in students.
As the researchers did through direct observation at the school, it was
still found that some students still lacked a sense of tolerance during
learning activities at MTs Negeri 1 Pontianak, for example: it was
still found that some students did not respect each other between
good friends in terms of opinion, ethnicity, culture and still there are
students who ostracize and mock one of their friends who are
considered less socialized in class. The purpose of this study was to
determine the implementation and results reflected in the tolerance
attitude instilled by students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative
method, namely the researcher as the main source of research in the
interview, observation and documentation process. The analysis
technique used by the researcher in this research is descriptive
analysis technique, using the concept of Miles and Huberman with
three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion
drawing. The interview was conducted by making the social studies
teacher the main informant. The number of class VIIIC students is 42
people with 15 boys and 17 girls. The results of the implementation
research go through three stages, namely: the value transformation
stage, the value transaction stage and the value transinternalization
stage. While the results of inculcating an attitude of tolerance are
four attitudes including: giving freedom and independence,
recognizing the rights of everyone, respecting other people's beliefs
and understanding each other. )
