KEMAMPUAN AWAL MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DARING PADA MATERI BANGUN RUANG DI SMP

Abstract


This research aims to determine how the students' initial mathematical ability in online learning in building materials at SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were all eight grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak and then described the general initial abilities along with the students' initial abilities on the 3 indicators of initial ability used by researchers in this study. In general, the initial ability of students is in the medium category with an average value of 46.23. If referring to the individual percentage obtained by students, there are 6 students or 20% of the total respondents who have a high level of initial ability, 3 students 10% on the contrary are in the low category, and dominated by students who are in the medium category with a total of 21 students. or 70%. For indicators of recalling subject matter that students have learned in online learning are included in the medium category, for indicators of understanding the concept of previous lessons students in online learning are in the medium category, for indicators relating new lesson concepts to the concepts of lessons learned in online learning are included in the category low.
