PERAN POKMASWAS DESA NANGA EMPANGAU DALAM PELESTARIAN DANAU LINDUNG KECAMATAN BUNUT HILIR KABUPATEN KAPUAS HULU
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the role of community groups in the conservation of protected lakes in terms of their management, increasing public awareness and the benefits of conservation. This research uses a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques through direct communication in the form of observation and interviews as well as documentation. The results of the study show that: 1) the management of protected lakes in their conservation has been carried out by community groups and communities who participate directly in the conservation of arowana broodstock and sowing of arowana fish seeds (silok) or freshwater fish seeds that can be enjoyed and enjoyed taken with regulations that apply in protected lakes that the community can take over parts of the area that are not taken excessively and comply with applicable regulations. 2) to increase public awareness in the conservation of protected lakes or institutions that become community benchmarks to participate in conservation so that all who are members of the community or community participate. Like there is counseling in a protected lake area. 3) the benefits of preserving protected lakes for people who inhabit protected lake areas such as being able to support life and cultural values as well as the economy of the community, local tourist attractions and habitats for freshwater fish.
