PERAN KEPALA MADRASAH PEREMPUAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI MTSN 2 PONTIANAK
Abstract
This study aims to describe the role of female madrasah principals in improving the quality of education at MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The research subjects were 4 people, namely the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of the madrasa in the field of curriculum, and the teacher. Methods of data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used interactive data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation and triangulation techniques and then perform member checks. The results of this study are: 1) The head of MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak as a woman and a leader carries out her role as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator and the most dominant role is the role of educator, manager and supervisor to improve quality. education at MTs Negeri 02 Pontianak. 2) The strategies used by female madrasah principals in improving the quality of education at MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak: increasing human resources, improving learning and improving educational facilities. 3) the factors that influence the role of female madrasah principals in improving the quality of education at MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak: Intelligence factor, communication factor and orientation factor. The conclusion is that female madrasah principals have played a good role and applied every role in their leadership to improve the quality of education at MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak.)
