PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


A common problem in this study is "How does an increase in motivation Learning Mathematics with use CTL approach the students Elementary School Fourth Grade 23 Tikalong? '??. Problems, especially (1) How does an increase in intrinsic motivation to use contextual teaching and learning approach to learning Mathematics Elementary School Fourth Grade 23 Tikalong? (2) How does an increase in the use of extrinsic contextual approach to teaching and learning in mathematics teaching fourth grade elementary school 23 Tikalong? (3) How improving student learning outcomes as a result of increasing students' motivation in learning mathematics? The purpose of research (1) To describe the increase in intrinsic motivation to use contextual teaching and learning approach to learning Mathematics Elementary School Fourth Grade 23 Tikalong (2) To describe the use of extrinsic motivation increased contextual approach to teaching and learning in mathematics teaching fourth grade elementary school 23 Tikalong. Benefits research theoretically and practically. The method used is descriptive while the study is a survey form with the type of classroom action research (Classroom Action Research). The subjects in this study were the teacher's lesson fourth grade Math and Elementary School fourth grade students 23 Tikalong totaling 23 people. Data collection techniques used are direct observation and interview techniques, data collection tools that each observation sheets, and test questions on students' motivation. The research was conducted in two cycles with the end result of research obtained the intrinsic motivation 17.38% in the Pre-Action category of "low", and 74.99% in the second cycle category "high", extrinsic motivation 35.89% in the Pre-action category "low", and 89.12% in the second cycle with the category "high".

Absrak : Masalah umum dalam penelitian ini Bagaimanakah peningkatan motivasi Pembelajaran Matematika dengan digunakannya pendekatan CTL Pada siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 23 Tikalong?. Masalah khususnya (1) Bagaimanakah peningkatan motivasi intrinsik dengan digunakannya pendekatan contextual teaching and learning pada pembelajaran Matematika Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 23 Tikalong? (2) Bagaimanakah peningkatan motivasi ekstrinsik dengan digunakannya pendekatan contextual teaching and learning pada pembelajaran Matematika kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 23 Tikalong? (3) Bagaimanakah peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebagai dampak meningkatnya motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika? Tujuan penelitian (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan motivasi intrinsik dengan digunakannya pendekatan contextual teaching and learning pada pembelajaran Matematika Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 23 Tikalong (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan motivasi ekstrinsik dengan digunakannya pendekatan contextual teaching and learning pada pembelajaran Matematika kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 23 Tikalong. Manfaat penelitian secara teoritis dan praktis. Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif. Bentuk Penelitian survei, jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru Mata Pelajaran Matematika kelas IV dan siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar 23 Tikalong yang berjumlah 23 orang. Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung dan wawancara, Alat pengumpul data masing-masing yaitu lembar observasi, dan soal-soal tes tentang motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan hasil akhir penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu motivasi intrinsik 17,38 % pada Pra-Tindakan katagori rendah, dan 74,99 % pada siklus II katagori tinggi, motivasi ekstrinsik 35,89% pada Pra-Tindakan katagori rendah, dan 89,12 % pada siklus II dengan katagori tinggi.
