PENGINTEGRASIAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PROGRAM PEMBINAAN KESISWAAN STUDI KASUS DI SMA NEGERI 8 PONTIANAK
Abstract
This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and supervision of the integration of character education in the student development program at SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. This research form uses qualitative and case study. The research subjects were 9 people, 3 men, 6 women aged among 17 years and 55 years, the types are principals, student council officers, student council coaches, teachers and students.. Method for collecting the data include observation, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis includes collecting data, reduction, presentation, and verification. The triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques technique is used to check the validity of data. The main findings showed that
(1) planning for the integration of character education in the student development program was carried out by creating a student development program by the Principal and Student Deputy Head, setting program objectives, recruiting OSIS members, extracurricular and academic and non-academic excellence and program preparation. (2) the implementation of the integration of character education in the student development program is carried out through habituation and conditioning in schools. (3) supervision of the integration of character education in the student development program is carried out by determining targets, carried out by the principal, continuous implementation, analyzing and making improvements to deviations that occur and carrying out follow-up supervision. The study concludes that character education is well integrated into the student development program at SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak.Theresearh Implication is that character education can be integrated into student development programs.
