BENTUK PENYAJIAN TARI JEPIN TEMBONG’K DESA SUNGAI KOSAK KECAMATAN KAPUAS KABUPATEN SANGGAU KALIMANTAN BARAT
Abstract
This research is encouraged by the researchers' concerns about the authenticity of the Jepin Tembong'k dance which will experience changes in the future. Therefore, researchers described and documented the Jepin Tebong'k Dance in the form of writing, pictures, and videos. The research was a qualitative research and the research design was descriptive methods in the form of choreographic approach. The data were collected in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were validated by extension of observations and triangulation. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the form of presentation of Jepin Tembong'k Dance was as follows: Jepin Tembong'k dance had an opening movement structure, namely the clapping motion, the core movement consists of variety 1, variety 2, variety 3, variety 4 (Step Tembong'k) and the closing motion was the motion of applause. The number of dancers must be even, namely 4, 6, 8 and so on , this dance can be danced by both men and women. The floor pattern is a horizontal and zigzag design. Musical instruments used were stringed instruments tambourines and there were strains of chick rhymes. The clothes used by the female dancers were the Kutubaru kebaya, patterned cloth and a sash. For men, they use the Teluk Belanga shirt, cloth pants, patterned cloth and skullcap. The makeup used by dancers were natural makeup. The venue for the show used a proscenium stage or open field.
