PEMBINAAN PENERAPAN NORMA KESOPANAN MELALUI PERAN GURU PPKN DI SMP NEGERI 3 SANGGAU
Abstract
This study aims to determine the application of politeness norms
development through the role of PPKn teachers at SMPN 3
SANGGAU. The research method used is a descriptive method with
a qualitative research form. The sources of data in this study were
school residents, namely the principal, PPKn teachers and students.
Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and
documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that
fostering the application of politeness norms through the role of
PPKn teachers at SMPN 3 Sanggau is carried out by: (1) The role of
PPKn teachers in fostering the application of politeness norms at
SMPN 3 Sanggau is carried out in the classroom and outside the
classroom. In class, it is done through introduction, core and closing.
While outside the classroom, it is carried out through routine,
spontaneous and exemplary activities. (2) PPKn teachers in
motivating students in applying politeness norms at SMPN 3
Sanggau, in the classroom the teacher acts as a facilitator, role model
and advisor, and outside the classroom the PPKn teacher cooperates
with the BK teacher. (3) The obstacles experienced by PPKn
teachers in fostering the application of politeness norms at SMPN 3
Sanggau, namely from family, environmental and technological
factors.
