PENGARUH KOMPENSASI DAN IKLIM ORGANISASI TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA GURU PAUD DI KECAMATAN PONTIANAK BARAT

Abstract


This study focuses on the job satisfaction of PAUD teachers associated with compensation and school organizational climate. The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of compensation and organizational climate on the job satisfaction of PAUD teachers in West Pontianak. This study uses a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach and the data collection technique uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The research sample was PAUD teachers in West Pontianak. This sample was taken based on the determination of a sample of 50 people with the characteristics of having a minimum service period of two years with non-PNS/ASN status. Data were collected using a questionnaire technique with a data collection tool in the form of a list of questionnaires. The instrument composed consists of three variables, namely organizational climate, compensation and job satisfaction of PAUD teachers. In this case, a questionnaire in the form of questions will be distributed to PAUD teachers in West Pontianak District. The data collected was tabulated, then measured using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 25 program, then tested for validity, reliability, normality, linearity, and hypothesis testing. Based on data analysis, the results of the study were found as follows: (1) compensation has an influence on the job satisfaction of PAUD teachers in West Pontianak District by 40.30%., (2) organizational climate has an influence on job satisfaction of PAUD teachers in West Pontianak District by 5960%, and (3) compensation and organizational climate have a joint influence on the job satisfaction of PAUD teachers in West Pontianak District by 52.50%. The conclusion of this study is that compensation and organizational climate have a joint effect on job satisfaction of PAUD teachers in West Pontianak District by 52.50%.
