PENGARUH KAHOOT! TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI IPS PELAJARAN SEJARAH SMAN 8 PONTIANAK

Abstract


The purpose of this research is to determine the magnitude of the influence given by Kahoot! as a learning medium for the interest in learning history of class XI IPS students at SMAN 8 Pontianak. The sample was taken from a total population of 153 students, where the researcher chose a margin of error of 10% so that the research sample was 60 students and the sample was divided inti two classes, namely experimental and control, each with 30 samples. Data collection was obtained through a questionaire, observation and documentation. The conclusions summarized based on the results of this study are Kahoot! which is used as a learning media has an influence on interest in history lessons for class XI IPS students at SMAN 8 Pontianak. This is reinforced by the result of the t-test with a value of 0.00 < 0.05 which means Ha is accepted and also strengthened by linear relationship between the independent variables and the variables in the experimental class have a unidirectional relationship, namely Y = 11.904 + 0.715 X with a value of significance 0.00 < 0.05. The percentage result of the magnitude of the influence in this study is 78.02% which is in the strong category.
