Abstract

Implementation of education staff services is the activity of managing education personnel in carrying out service tasks in accordance with their duties and functions so that they run effectively. The purpose of this study is to describe the division of service tasks for education personnel, the implementation of service tasks for education personnel, the obstacles in carrying out service tasks and efforts to overcome obstacles in the implementation of service tasks. This study used descriptive statistical methods and a qualitative approach. The informants in this study were the principal, vice principal, administration, librarian and laboratory assistant. Data collection by interview, observation and documentation. The data collected is analyzed descriptively through several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The division of service tasks for education personnel at SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau carried out by the principal is by planning, managing, implementing, controlling and supervising; (2) The implementation of the service duties of the education staff at SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau has mutual socialization, openness in work, discipline, available facilities, shows a friendly, polite attitude and gives a smile when doing services and fulfills the needs of service recipients. and try and be responsible when carrying out their respective duties in an effort to improve school services for better school effectiveness in the future; (3) Obstacles in carrying out service tasks at SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau schools that often appear in schools, namely there are still teachers who lack discipline due to coming late to school, infrastructure facilities that need to be improved to support work; (4) Efforts by education staff to overcome obstacles in the implementation of service tasks at SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau with an evaluation through a joint meeting where the principal discusses together about the obstacles faced by teachers and staff as well as what equipment is needed to support the work of each teacher and staff so that in carrying out their duties they can provide good and maximum service.
