PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA POWER POINT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII E SMP NEGERI 1 SUNGAI RAYA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using power point media on students’ learning outcomes. The form of this research is pre-experimental design with one group pre-test-post test design. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class VIII E SMP N 1 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency. The data collection techniques used are direct communication techniques and documentary studies. The data collection tool used is in the form of multiple choice questions as tools to determine the learning outcomes of students before and after being treated and note sheets or documents. Based on the results of data analysis, the average learning outcomes of students before treatment are 61.56, while the average learning outcomes of students after being treated have increased, namely the average learning outcomes of 84,53 with the high category. With the calculation of Effect Size, the result is 1,70 with a high category, which means power point learning media has a major impact on student learning outcomes in the Social Studies subject for Class VIII E SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency.
