Abstract


Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the learning process and students learning
outcomes on adjusting journal materials to class XI A of MAS Raudhatul Ulum Meranti.
This research used a classroom action research method which consisted of four stages: a)
Planning, b) acting, c) observing, d) reflecting. This research was collaborated with the
economic teacher and conducted within two cycles. The data was collected through
observation checklist, field note and students learning outcomes. The result of this
research showed that there were improvements of the students` activeness and students
learning outcomes seen from their activities and the learning outcomes. There was also
an improvement of students learning outcomes. In the cycle I at the first meeting, there
were only 44% students who reached the minimal passing criteria. And in the second
meeting increased to 53%. Then, in the cycle II at the first meeting, students learning
outcomes increased to 66% and at the second meeting increased to 72%. From the data,
it can be concluded that Drill learning method improves students learning activity and
students learning outcomes on adjusting journal material to class XI A of MAS Raudhatul
Ulum Meranti
