PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK TALK WRITE (TTW) UNTUK MEREMEDIASI MISKONSEPSI PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI KALOR
Abstract
Abstract
This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of using the Think Talk Write (TTW) model to remediate students' misconceptions on heat at SMP N 2 Ledo. The method used is Pre Experimental Design with OneGroup Pretest-Posttest Design. Data were taken from class VII A students who were selected by simple random sampling. The sample of this research was 22 students. The data collection tool was in the form of 9 multiple choice questions with three alternative answers along with open reasons. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the average percentage decrease in the number of students who experienced misconceptions was 74.59%. Based on the calculation of the McNemar test, it is obtained that the average x_hitung ^ 2 (8.49)> χ table ^ 2 (3.84) for db = 1 and α = 5%, so overall there is a significant change in conception after remediation using the Think Talk Write model ( TTW). Based on the effect size calculation, it is found that remediation using the Think Talk Write (TTW) model is effective in overcoming student misconceptions on heat with a score of 0.31 (moderate category).
