KORELASI ANTARA MOTIVASI DAN KEMANDIRIAN DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR TEMATIK KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract
This study aims describe the correlation between motivation and independence with student learning outcomes in thematic learning of class V at the State Elementary School 03 Pontianak City. This research used correlation study. The population in this study were students of the 35 South Pontianak Elementary School, totaling 101 students and the 94 Pontianak City State Elementary School students, totaling 94 students. The sample in this study was 29 students who were determined by purposive sampling technique, namely class V C State Elementary School 03 Pontianak City. The results showed statistical calculations using product moment correlation, namely motivation with thematic learning outcomes obtained rcount of 0.720 and independence with thematic learning outcomes obtained rcount of 0.661. and motivation with independence obtained rcount of 0.556. For motivation and independence with thematic learning outcomes using the double correlation formula, Ry12 of 0.785 is in the category of strong relationship with Fcount of 20.87 and Ftable = 5% of 3.37 which means Fcount (20.87) > Ftable (3.37 ), then Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between motivation and independence with student learning outcomes in class V thematic learning at the State Elementary School 03 Pontianak Kota.
