Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the factors that influence development of
beach tourism objects and development efforts based on society in Temajuk
Village, Paloh District, Sambas Regency. The research method of this study was
combination method. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and
documentation. d wBased on the research result, There are beaches with moderate
potential, Camar Bulan , Teluk Atong, Batu Nenek and with low potential is Surya
beach. The driving factors for the development of beach tourism objects are tourist
attraction, amenities and accessibility. the inhibiting factors for beach tourism
objects is, Human resource management in tourism objects are still lacking in
quality and quantity. the budget also still lacking, road acces, and PLN is still not
fully illuminated. and communication signal network is still difficult to access.
support from the government, private sector and community are still lacking. The
effort for development based on community are the participation of personnel,
money and skills. The conclusion is Cooperation between private sector and the
government must be continuously improved in order to improve the quality of
beach tourism objects
